Then the people saw the sign that he had done, they say, "This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world." But Jesus, knowing they were going to come and take him king, he withdrew again to the mountain by himself (John 6:14-15)
Today the world, governments, churches continue to want to make Jesus their king staff. They insist that Christ is their only king, who will avenge the injustice of others and make them victorious over the strong and arrogant. The Crusades in the name of Christ were done under the sign of the cross, engraved on the banners and swords. The Crusaders really took Jesus to make him king, king, leader fighting with sword and spear, which kills and destroys the enemy. Same thing happens with the Inquisition, the courts of death in which wiping fire on the believers who were not under the power of the popes of the time. All this was done in the name of Christ that the successors of the Roman emperors did their own king in Rome, so submit himself to the world at their feet. Even today, every church claims that Christ makes it victorious over all the others, as belonging only to the king it, defending and avenging
[...] So the heart of Christ was very distressed and sad for those Galileans who had lost the way of God and true salvation. Could no longer see Christ in his essence Saviour and Redeemer. After the miracle [of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes], Christ could not help but disappeared from their sight and "withdraw all alone."
Even today, Christ the King refuses to be a racist and dogmatic, one people, one I think. He refuses to be a tool to make life easier or to ensure that natural earthly joys. Christ is, in fact, "Lord to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:11). All the miracles of Christ are for the glory of the Father, which is not revealed except when the people they love and forgive each other. Christ's words "I have glorified You on Earth" (Jn 17:4), meaning he gave himself as a sacrifice of love for all. Christ belongs to the whole world, for and glory of the heavenly Father.
